We are thrilled to welcome Gemini, a next-generation cryptocurrency exchange and custodian that allows customers to buy, sell, and store digital assets, to the Pyth network, where it will contribute real-time data on crypto prices.
Who is Gemini?
- Gemini was founded in 2014, by brothers Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, to unlock the next era of financial, creative, and personal freedom. It was also the first company to launch bitcoin futures contracts in December 2017. The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) used Gemini’s bitcoin prices as the basis for the daily settlement of the bitcoin futures.
